# NeetCode Offline Course Videos
This unpacked Chrome extension inserts a local MP4 player for the **DSA for Beginners** course and hides NeetCode's Vimeo player while it is active. It only affects `https://neetcode.io/courses/dsa-for-beginners/` and leaves the course text, progress controls, and embedded YouTube clips alone.
## Install
1. Keep `manifest.json`, `content.js`, and `NeetCode Cache` together in this folder. The video paths are relative to `manifest.json`.
2. In Chrome, open `chrome://extensions` and turn on **Developer mode**.
3. Choose **Load unpacked** and select this folder:
`C:\Users\Aditya.9.Gupta\NCCache`
4. Confirm that Chrome shows version **1.0.10** on the extension card, then open or refresh a DSA for Beginners lesson. A blue **Loading cached lesson** label followed by a green **Playing cached lesson** label confirms the local player is in use.
If you click Chrome's **Reload** button for the extension after changing its files, also refresh the NeetCode tab. Chrome invalidates content scripts that were already running in that tab.
## Notes
- The cache contains 35 MP4s (about 1.66 GB); Chrome reads them in place. Do not select the `NeetCode Cache` folder by itself when loading the extension.
- NeetCode's original Vimeo player stays hidden. All MP4s are explicitly declared as web-accessible extension resources, so Chrome can stream them directly from the local cache. If a cache file is missing or cannot play, the local player shows a red error label instead.
- Use this only with course material you are authorized to access and retain.
